Reconstructing the Dead

Neha’s DNA work identifies the garbage-dump body as Mohan Dhariwal, a predator with thirteen unprosecuted cases — confirming her own kill. Sajal mobilises the CBI, recruits forensic entomologist Dr Ranjeet Sinha, and digitally reconstructs Mohan’s last day. Through her father, the deepest wound surfaces: as a child Neha was raped for a year by her uncle — now a Chief Minister — who murdered her parents. She refuses to flee, and lines up Sairam.

Episode 05

Dimaag and Dil

Neha floats a money-laundering theory to misdirect the team. Sajal confides that his car accident was likely staged, and quietly hands Neha a shirt fragment to test for alcohol. Mishra forces hot-headed Bihari cop Yadav onto the team. Arjun traces Mohan to a seedy hotel — entered with a girl, never seen leaving, zero blood trace — signalling a meticulous killer.

The Penrose Trick

Neha “teaches” Sajal the Candice case: a rapist who beat DNA tests for years using another person’s blood — a sly window into her own evasion. Sajal dissolves his private cabin to sit with the team and profile seven victims, the scattered dumps suggesting more than one killer. At 2 a.m., Mishra summons the team to Delhi on a PMO emergency.
