Two Old Lions

Pundit Omkar Nath meets Sajal — and the conversation detonates: he was forced out of the CBI over the Diwakar “suicide,” actually a murder tied to a counterfeit-currency cover-up, and Sajal’s near-fatal “accident” was an assassination by the same network. Pundit promises to help re-open it once the child-killer case is closed.

Inside Job

Another dismembered child’s body is found. Sajal lays out a precise profile — a lonely, educated man, 30–35, likely a victim of paternal sexual abuse, embedded in the hospital ecosystem, the nine-day ritual symbolising nine months in the womb. The team works psychiatrists and asylum discharges, but every promising suspect dissolves.

Episode 18

The Fiber

Promising suspects are dismissed — their childhoods were too happy. Neha’s breakthrough: every jar carries an identical red nylon tri-lobal fibre, proving the killer dismembers all victims in one fixed location. Then Mishra brings worse news — a powerful telecom fixer, Sairam Ranganathan, has been found dismembered by the Yamuna. (One of Neha’s kills.)
